With the start of the New Year, Burwood Neighbourhood House welcomes new activities to
join our already long list of available activities.
Balance & Flexibility
Balance and Flexibility are two important fitness commodities that offer immediate and long
term benefits. This class can help with controlling pain, prevent injuries and relieve tension in
Classes will run every Tuesday from 2nd of February until 22nd of March from 11.30am-
12.30pm. 8 weeks for $80, with a special early bird price of $70.
Indian Vegetarian Cooking
Broaden your cooking skills by adding a new cuisine with an Indian, vegetarian cooking
class at Burwood Neighbourhood House. Impress friends and family with not just curries
Classes will run every Tuesday from 23rd of February and the 22nd of March from 1pm-2pm for only $30.
Reflexology is an alternative medicine using pressure on different points of the body.
Pressing on certain points of the body can have positive effects on organs and a person’s
general health and can assist with your health management.
Classes will run on the 16th of February, the 8th of February and the 22nd of March from 1pm-2pm at $40 for each session.
Tai Chi is a form of Chinese martial arts that has been practiced for centuries. Chair based
Tai Chi is a combination of tradition and contemporary Tai Chi. It is a great form of exercise that is suitable for all age groups, particularly older clients.
Chair based Tai Chi classes will run from the 4th of February until the 24th of March between 12.30pm-1pm. It will cost $40 for 8 weeks or the Early Bird price is $28.

- If you wish to cancel you must let us know 7 days prior to starting date.
- Late withdrawals from classes can result in the class being non-financial
