Knitted Knockers Australia

A Burwood Neighbourhood House Community Project

"Communities Helping Women"

Knitted Knockers are a FREE 100%, hand-knitted, cotton prosthesis made in Australia, provided to breast cancer women who have had a mastectomy.
Kits are available for people who like to knit.  We set up kits for national quality control and as a duty of care to the breast cancer survivor.

NOTE: Prosthesis can not be sold.

Knitted Knockers Australia will supply to the Asia/Pacific Region, or wherever there is a need.

We thank each and every one of our generous supporters, like the Olivia Newton-John Centre, Waverley Private (Ramsey Holdings Group), The Rotary of Waverley, C.W.A members, Bendigo Woollen Mills, and many wonderful knitting groups all over Australia.

Kits

Would you like to fund-raise for Knitted Knockers? Would you like to  knit for the organisation?  We can supply you with a kit or kits.  You are welcome to join the team of wonderful volunteer knitters. Ask us about setting up a Knitted Knockers branch in your town or state.  For any details, ring the president Cheryl, a three-time breast cancer survivor and wearer of the prosthesis.

Our pattern is only available through kits.  We do not have it on the website to be downloaded.  It has been developed for Australian requirements and cotton products. Please note that the pattern is copyrighted.
