Knitted Knockers Australia
A Burwood Neighbourhood House Community Project
"Communities Helping Women"
Knitted knockers are a FREE 100%, hand knitted, cotton prosthesis made in Australia, that is provided to breast cancer women who have had a mastectomy.
Kits are available for people who like to knit. We set up
kits for national quality control and as a duty of
care to the breast cancer survivor.
NOTE: Prosthesis can not be sold.
Knitted Knockers Australia will supply to Asia/Pacific
Region or wherever there is a need.

We thank each and everyone of our generous supporters like the Olivia Newton John Centre, Waverley Private (Ramsey Holdings Group), The Rotary of Waverley, C.W.A members, Bendigo Woollen Mills and many wonderful kntting groups all over australia.
DONATIONS: We welcome any donation to the organisation for the purchase of the 100% cotton, packaging and postage. We have delivered over 100 prosthesis to hospitals. To donate, contact Burwood Neighbourhood House on 9808 6292.
Would you like to fundraise for Knitted Knockers? Would you like to knit for the organisation? We can supply you with a kit/kits. You are welcome to join the team of wonderful volunteer knitters. Ask us about setting up a Knitted Knockers branch in your town or state. Ring the president Cheryl, a three time breast cancer survivor and wearer of the prosthesis for any details.
Our pattern is only available through kits. We do not have it on the website to be downloaded. It has been developed for Australian requirements and cotton products. Please note that the pattern is copyrighted.
